This photoshoot of Selena and Demi is in black and white, although it is a pop theme and also aimed for young girls, it still gives a dramatic effect and works, this is because of the poses and expressions which enabled the pictures to fit in with the theme. These are also mid shots of them, focusing more on their faces and not any costume or props but full attention to their facial expressions. This makes the images look very natural and not too "posed" as it looks like they are just mucking about and having a laugh. This I thought fits in with my characters as they are much younger, therefore getting them to do a specific pose I tell them to do may be difficult for them. But by allowing them to be relaxed and spontaneous will give a greater effect.
