PLANNING 6 - Props/Costume ideas

As there will be two different characters who have contrasting personalities, this enables me to show this by the use of costumes and props.

For the more "girly" character I will be having her wear dresses, skirts, pink clothing, florals, jewellery. hair pieces such as flower clips/bands and a variety of hairstyles.

For the more "tom-boy" character I will be having her wear jeans, trousers, t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuits, few clips but minimal hair dos.

PLANNING 5 - Location Ideas

For this video, I want to have a variety of locations used as it will not be based on a one-day event but it shows their "friendship journey". As they are young, I thought it will be ideal to have the video done in areas where they are likely to be alone and without any adults. And so locations based in the house or areas near the house would be best such as; garden, bedroom, living room, kitchen, front garden and nearby park.

As there will be recording done both inside and outside, therefore the weather will need to be considered. For some parts of the filming, it is vital to have the weather dry and quite sunny such as the recording in the park or playing in the garden.

However, majority of the different activities will be taking place inside and so the weather conditions does not need to be considered. But can be altered by different lighting or shade, also to have different backgrounds I can add props such as scarves or paper to cover the wall in order to have a variety of colours and effects.

PLANNING 4 - Target audience

The target audience for this music video has no age restriction as it is a pop Disney song but as it is about girls and their friendship therefore, it will likely be viewed by young girls from age 0-12 year olds. The song is quite loud and "jumpy" which a lot of young girls like and so it will be vital to have the music video being carried out within this same pace.

In order for me to know if the music video will be enjoyed by the target audience and if any improvements need to be made, I have created this questionnaire that consists of 10 questions and a final rate section, that would give me an idea of how appropriate the music video is.

PLANNING 3 - Artist/Production Company/Record Label

"One and the same",is a song performed by American pop recording artists Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez for the Disney movie Princess Protection Program (2009). The song was written by Vitamin C, Michael Kotch and Dave Derby and was produced by Mitch Allan. The song's music video was included on the DVD of the film. The song was also featured on the compilation album, Disney Channel Playlist, which was released on June 9, 2009.

The song peaked at number 82 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It has sold 329,000 digital copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Recorded: 2009
Genre: Pop Rock

PLANNING 2 - Written consideration of artists and tracks

This is the third prezi I have created, it is the song One and the same from Princess Protection Program, I have put down the reasons why I have chosen this song for my music video.

PLANNING 1 - Mood board

This is the final mood board I have created, it is based on the movie Princess Protection Program and also Demi and Selena's relationship in reality as I feel it is very similar to the movie. And also costumes, props or colours that will be used within the music video.
